FIDELITONE Expands Northern VA Last Mile Delivery Hub

Manassas, VA, November 24, 2021 – FIDELITONE, a supply chain management firm specializing in the last mile delivery of large, oversized goods, expands in Manassas, VA with the opening of a new last mile hub.

Since 1979, FIDELITONE has delivered furniture to consumers’ homes on behalf of retailers and manufacturers. An institution in Manassas, VA since 1999, FIDELITONE’s increased delivery volume in the Washington DC market prompted the company to re-examine their existing location.

The new last mile delivery hub located at 8511 Virginia Meadows Drive expands FIDELITONE’s capacity in the local market by nearly 80% more than the former location. The added capacity combined with an updated operational layout suitable for today’s business needs positions the company well for additional growth.

“The local expertise has been a big part of our success in servicing last mile deliveries in Northern Virginia and Washington, DC,” shared Josh Johnson, Chief Executive Officer. “Since 40% of the hub workforce are residents of Manassas, one of the requirements of a new facility was one in close proximity to our current location so it would be convenient for employees and last mile carrier partners. We were fortunate to find a facility only 3.5 miles from our former location.”

The company celebrated the opening of their new last mile delivery hub with a ribbon cutting in November.
