Fidelitone Logistics Recognized for Partnership with Clearbrook

Fidelitone Logistics Partners with Chicago-area Nonprofit to Employ Adults with Developmental Disabilities

WAUCONDA, Ill. (April 20, 2009) - Fidelitone Logistics, an industry leader in providing comprehensive third party logistics (3PL) services, is being honored for its strong partnership with Clearbrook, a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and adults with developmental disabilities. On Tuesday, April 21 at 11:30 a.m., the company will receive an award at its headquarters in Wauconda, Ill. in recognition of their dedication and involvement with Clearbrook's QUEST Program.

The QUEST (Quality Employment Skills Training) Program is an employment service for adults with disabilities. Clearbrook assigns these adults to specified jobsites to learn skills, so they can gain the experience and confidence they need to enter the workforce.

"We are honored to be partners with such an amazing organization as Clearbrook," said Josh Johnson, president of Fidelitone Logistics. "This award signifies the importance of providing job opportunities to all adults, despite their disabilities, and we're thankful to work with such a prominent and meaningful organization to staff our warehouses."

The two companies began working together in late 2007 after Fidelitone Logistics consolidated a warehouse on the east coast and saw a need to hire some of the Arlington Heights-based Clearbrook clients locally. By August 2008, Clearbrook's QUEST Program was up and running at the Fidelitone warehouse, training employees on how to package bulk parts that require repair for reshipment.

"Our partnership has grown tremendously since the QUEST Program began," said Bonnie Zotos, director of human resources for Fidelitone Logistics. "Today, with three Clearbrook clients working at our facility three days each week and additional work handled by Clearbrook's Workshop, it has truly been a win-win situation. They are an ideal fit for us and have integrated well into our environment."

"The workers we have gained from Clearbrook have been extremely dependable and have assimilated well into our environment," said David Brink, director of logistics for Fidelitone Logistics. "We believe it's important to give back to the community in which you work and through Clearbrook, Fidelitone Logistics is able to do just that."
