CDS Logistics Names Fidelitone Logistics as Agent of the
Year
Wauconda, IL - Fidelitone Logistics, an industry leader
in 3PL and sup
ply chain performance, has
been named "2009 Agent of the Year" by CDS Logistics. The award was
given to Fidelitone Logistics for exceptional last mile
delivery services performed on behalf of CDS Logistics for
American Woodmark Corporation, a leading manufacturer and
distributor of kitchen and bath cabinets.
This award annually recognizes last mile companies based on their entire performance in the delivery process, including customer satisfaction, shortages/damages, scanning and error-free manual entry. CDS Logistics has three awards categories for small, medium and large volume agents. Fidelitone Logistics received top honors in the medium volume category, as well as second place overall. Fidelitone delivers approximately 40,000 cabinets, windows, and doors each year for CDS Logistics.
Barb Reaber, General Manager of the Fidelitone Logistics Bensenville facility, was especially proud of the expedient and successful ramp-up and execution of the CDS delivery program. "The business with CDS was a new challenge for us, and we trained and worked very hard to make sure we met and exceeded our internal and external customers' requirements," said Reaber. "We are always looking for ways to make sure we are efficient in getting the work done. A big thank you to all of the employees for their hard work and dedication each and every day for CDS, as well as for all of our customers who are serviced out of our Bensenville location."
